Think of Love and we think of relationships, one of the cornerstones in the PS Life Can Be Easy Triad of Success

Think of the word relationships – and see how many examples you can find? Here are some suggestions:

Relationships with our;

  1. Spouse/Partner
  2. Children
  3. Parents
  4. Siblings
  5. Wider Family
  6. Friends
  7. Work Colleagues
  8. Employees    etc etc

Each relationship has a different dimension depending on what we are doing, seeing and being with them at any given time. How we feel within ourselves, think, are, behave, the things we say and do all contribute to our relationship with ourselves. How we believe others perceive us to be, how we react within ourselves and how we want to be perceived all add into the mix too.

All of this is our ‘get up’. And so we set out on the journey of life with our relationship with ourselves. Highs/lows, good days/bad days, harmony with others/disputes and upset too.

Everyone has an Ego. Now there are two definitions of ego in the dictionary;

  1. One’s image of oneself
  2. The self of an individual person, the conscious subject.

Let’s take a look at the second explanation, the conscious subject. This is the mind part of our existence as opposed to the sub-conscious – our mind awareness.

This is what drives us to go about our daily lives. Our thoughts which become emotions, which become our actions, which become our results – our outcomes of that initial thought. Sanjay explains this with his PSLCBE TEAR model in the PSLCBE Success System.

So, just as a positive thought leaves a positive outcome for the individual, a negative thought leaves a negative and disagreeable outcome. So when we think of the saying, ‘Think positively’ this is sound advice for a successful outcome, although not the full story! But more about that, in another blog.

So, how would our lives be if we were able to naturally think positively ... as opposed to trying to condition ourselves to think positively all the time? Yes – we would dramatically increase our successful outcomes in all that we do. Would this be good? Would this be beneficial? Most importantly, will this give you a better relationship with yourself?

Given that our relationships with others are a reflection on how we feel within ourselves, ( shocking fact but true!) can you see that by exploring and studying the relationship with ourselves, we can shape all other relationships and outcomes in our lives? Better still, we can identify when our ego – our conscious subject – is serving us and when it is not?

All of this contributes to making the loving life that we want, firstly, for ourselves and then in turn for others. Don’t be confused with becoming selfish which is another matter altogether. It took me years to differentiate between the two!

So, in conclusion – another reason why, that despite election uncertainty, economic influences and volcanic ash, there is a way to make life easy – just as the universe intended it to be. I am not saying we will not be given challenges to overcome. What I am suggesting is, that by understanding ourselves better, our behaviour patterns and how we can have the very best relationships with ourselves, it can be entirely possible that life can be easy for you, me and anyone else who wants it to be.

This is what we offer by running the Emotional Mastery programme in Kenilworth 4th 5th and 6th June 2010. Mastering our emotions equals mastering our relationships with ourselves and others - click here for more info

And the bonus is that once we have mastered our relationships with ourselves we can master our health and wealth creation too. Easy. Isn’t that how you would like your life to be?

Easy.

Have a great week..... with yourself!
